PERSONAL DATA

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a set of laws passed by the European Commission and transposed into French law on May 25, 2018, for all companies operating in the European Union.

Below you will find various questions relating to your personal data.

What data is saved?

For each order you place on www.cercledessubversives.org, we store the data necessary to process your order (product purchased, type of reservation, type of subscription, quantity, etc.), shipping and/or billing your order (title, last name, first name, address, phone number), and customer information (date of birth, email address, phone number).

Data relating to transactions
When you pay by credit card, the Cercle des Subversives does not store your full card details. Only the last four (4) digits of the card number and its expiration date may be stored, and this is done exclusively for the following purposes:

  • as evidence in the event of a dispute over the transaction, in accordance with Article L.133-24 of the Monetary and Financial Code,
  • to track and manage your orders in your customer account.

This data cannot be used to make payments under any circumstances and is stored for the period strictly necessary for the aforementioned purpose, before being deleted or anonymized.

Personal data is deleted when the user requests it at contact@cercledessubversives.org, and each newsletter includes an unsubscribe link.

How long does Cercle des Subversives keep my data?

In accordance with the principle of data retention set out in the General Data Protection Regulation and Simplified Standard 48 for the management of customer and prospect files, personal data relating to customers may not be retained beyond the retention period strictly necessary for the management of the commercial relationship.
Cercle des Subversives undertakes to delete or archive Customer data after a maximum period of 3 years following the last purchase, and Prospect data after a period of 3 years following the last interaction. Exceptions are data necessary to establish proof of a right or contract, which may be archived, as provided for in the provisions of the Commercial Code relating to the retention period for books and documents created in the course of commercial activities, and the Consumer Code relating to the retention of contracts concluded electronically.
